Food Truck Saturday joins Rockin the Burg:

In 2016, Karen Trauner with Eat From a Truck brought Food Truck Saturdays to Harrisburg Town Center. In 2017, the Town partnered with Karen to provide a night of food, fun and music. A variety of food trucks will be at each Rockin' the Burg event.

Join the Community Art Initiative

Get ready to find your inner artist before and during the show! Harrisburg Parks and Recreation will continue its interactive community art project at the 2018 Rockin' the Burg Events!  Accomplished artists, artist wannabes and everyone in between are invited to participate in painting the next in a series of acrylic murals highlighting Harrisburg's history and landmarks. Mural templates will be created by former Cabarrus County High School art teacher, artist and Concord resident: Andrea Sowle. All supplies will be provided and painting will be completed under Sowle's direction. Completed murals will be permanently on display in Town Hall's Municipal Complex, along with names of participating community members. All activities are free.
