Parks & Facilities

The Town of Harrisburg owns and operates three municipal parks within town limits: Harris Depot Park, Harrisburg Park and Stallings Park. The Town maintains Pharr Mill Park in partnership with Cabarrus County.

The Municipal Complex, located inside of Harrisburg Town Hall, is one of the largest meeting and program spaces in the Town of Harrisburg. The Council Chambers, also located inside of Harrisburg Town Hall, hosts a variety of meetings.  **Council Chambers is not available to rent.**

The Town of Harrisburg is accepting applications for a Seasonal Park Attendant who will perform a variety of entry-level public contact and facility maintenance duties to support the operation of the Town’s parks and facilities. Work will include frequent nights and weekends. Rate of pay is $10.34 per hour. Requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent, with some experience involving public contact and grounds maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
