Planning & Zoning Advisory Board Meeting

The Planning and Zoning Board meets at 6 p.m. at Town Hall on the third Tuesday of every month. The Board makes recommendations to the Town Council on rezoning cases, major subdivisions and text amendments to the Unified Development Ordinance. The Planning and Zoning Board does not make final decisions; they are an advisory board whose purpose is to make recommendations to the Town Council regarding land use decisions. The Planning and Zoning Board is a volunteer board consisting of seven members. Six members of the Planning and Zoning Board reside in the Town of Harrisburg, and one member represents the Extra-Territorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) of the Town of Harrisburg.

Harrisburg Business Alliance (HBA) is developing as a non-profit business networking organization comprised of business and community leaders committed to enabling communications and cooperation between businesses and the town government to enhance and encourage economic growth and development in Harrisburg. Our primary goal is to create a thriving business environment through marketing and promotions, participation in events and programs and the support of investments in the physical environment. HBA wants every Harrisburg business on The Right Side of Opportunity.
