To kick off the start of our July 4th Celebration join us on Monday, July 4th at the Annual Harrisburg July 4th Celebration Parade along Highway 49 through beautiful Harrisburg, and spend the morning with the community while We Honor our Military and their Families. The parade features tractors, floats, trailers, bands and much more!
Parade Information
We invite military and veterans groups, equestrian groups, fire trucks, schools, bands, performance groups, floats and more to participate. The Harrisburg July 4th Celebration Parade is one of the largest and most well-attended parades in the area. Folks line up along Highway 49 to see the array of military and non-military floats, businesses, walkers, bands, performers, equestrian groups and fire trucks that participate in the parade annually.
The parade begins at Captain Steve’s in Harrisburg and travels north down Highway 49. The parade will end at Robinson Ave. (on Highway 49). Participants in the parade will be directed to turn right onto Robinson Ave. Parade participants will be directed to turn left onto School Circle from Robinson Ave. and then to turn right onto Harrisburg Veterans Road which will take you to a stop light at Stallings Road. Please view a map in advance if you are not familiar with this location. There are various ways you can travel from the intersection of Harrisburg Veterans Road and Stallings Road to get where you need to go (via Stallings Road, Hickory Ridge Road or Robinson Church Road).
We will have Parade Announcers at the following locations:
- In front of Tractor Supply
- In front of Providence Church
- At the intersection of Z-Max Blvd and Hwy 49
- In front of Harrisburg Presbyterian
These announcers will be commentating the parade as it comes down Hwy 49. Not all parade attendees will be able to hear parade announcements.
Spectators
For safety reasons, please do not stand on the southbound lane side of Highway 49 to view the parade.
