The Golden Egg Hunt
The Golden Egg Hunt and The Golden Egg Hunt event scheduled for April 7-9, 2020 has been cancelled for this year due to COVID-19.
We apologize for any inconvenience. If you were a vendor who has submitted payment, you will receive a full refund.
In an effort to get families and friends in the parks spending time together, thousands of plastic, colored Easter eggs, along with 100 golden eggs will be hidden in various parks throughout Harrisburg: Stallings Park, Pharr Mill Park, Harris Depot Park, Veterans Park and the lawn around Harrisburg Town Hall.
(Please note: No eggs will be hidden at Harrisburg Park. Harrisburg Park is closed for construction)
Families may search for eggs during park hours from Tuesday, April 7th (beginning at noon) through Thursday, April 9th, 2020. Plastic colored eggs will have a small piece of candy or a small toy that you may keep. Eggs will be hidden at various times during this period.
If you are one of the lucky people to find a grand prize golden egg (with a ticket in it), you can redeem your prize at Stallings Park during our Easter Event, Thursday, April 9, 2020 from 6pm to 8pm. Prizes include: tickets to various outings in the Cabarrus and Mecklenburg County areas plus other goodies such as Easter baskets, toys, and games!
