Mayor Jennifer Teague was sworn-in to Office on Monday, December 13, 2021.

Background

Mayor Teague was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. After graduating from Myers Park High School, Mayor Teague earned a degree in Business Management with a Minor in Human Resources from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She worked 20 years in Human Resources Management before stepping away to raise her 3 children (Cameron - 16, Finley Kate - 15 and Carter - 13). The Mayor and her family enjoy visiting the North Carolina Coast and local sporting events in their free time.

Community Involvement

Mayor Teague and her husband have been married for 25 years. They moved to Harrisburg in 1999. Mayor Teague volunteered on the PTA/PTO for Harrisburg Elementary and Hickory Ridge Middle School for 12 years.
