FOOTBALL YOUTH CAMP
July 17-20, 2023
8:30am to 10:30am
In this camp you will learn fundamental football skills from stance to starts to
tackling and blocking. Group sessions will be held to work on skill positions and
line play. This is a non-contact camp. We invite all 6-12 year olds regardless of
your experience level.

Camp Director Michael Johns
Coach Johns has coached football for 31 years and was head coach for Mount
Pleasant HS for 23 years. Coach Johns' teams at Mount Pleasant won 5 conference
championships and 148 wins over all 23 seasons and 17 playoff wins. Coach Johns
emphasized relationships and fundamental skills. All three of Coach Johns' sons played
for him at Mount Pleasant and also played for the Harrisburg Cowboys. Coach Johns
is currently coaching at Harold Winkler MS as an assistant coach. He and Jane, his wife of 32
years, have three sons and one granddaughter.
Co-Director Bradley Hammill
Bradley played for Coach Johns at MPHS from 2005-2008. He was a standout
offensive lineman in high school. Bradley is a student of the game and has extensive
experience and knowledge. Bradley has coached at Mount Pleasant, West Stanly HS,
West Montgomery HS and Montgomery Central HS. At West Montgomery HS, in 2016,
Bradley coached the Warriors to the state championship where they lost to Wallace
Rose Hill HS. Currently he is the athletic director and head football coach at Harold
Winkler Middle School. Bradley and his wife, Taylor, have two sons.
Additional coaches will be on site as well depending on registration numbers.

**Instructors may or may not contact you prior to the camp’s, class’, or program’s start date. Registered participants should plan to arrive on the first day at the designated location and time.
