Winter/Spring 2024 Art Classes with Christina Thomas

Students will create works in a variety of mediums not limited to papier mache', painting, drawing, and watercolor. These classes let students be expressive and give them a creative way of thinking with their art in a fun, respectful environment. Each session will be different as most projects will tie to the season, like oil pastel blended snowmen in winter or zentangle flowers in spring. 

Session 1: January 16 - February 20

Session 2: March 19 - April 23

Tuesdays, 5:30pm to 6:30pm 

Ages 6-10

$85 per person, per session

Classes are held at Harrisburg Town Hall in the Municipal Complex Room. 

Class size: 20 children per session maximum

**Instructors may or may not contact you prior to the camp/class start date. Please plan on arriving on the first day at the designated location and time.

About Instructor: Christina Thomas

Mrs. Thomas is a dedicated, passionate art teacher. She has been teaching since 2015. She started teaching at Francis Bradley Middle School in Huntersville but currently teaches at West Cabarrus High School. She continues to paint in her free time and create commission pieces. Mrs. Thomas graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a Bachelor in Fine Arts with a concentration in painting and art education, along with a minor in art history. Mrs. Thomas is happily married to her amazing husband and has one sweet little boy!
