The Fire Marshal's Office (FMO) is a division of the Harrisburg Fire Department, and is under the direction of the Fire Marshal. The primary functions are: 

  • Emergency management consultations
  • Fire code consultations for commercial buildings and multifamily facilities
  • Fire code enforcement/inspections
  • Fire investigations
  • Fire prevention programs
  • Public safety special events plans review
