The Water & Sewer department's responsibility is to maintain and improve the long-term quality and reliability of water and sewer services in the Town of Harrisburg.

Today, the primary goals are cost control, efficient delivery of service and environmental protection. Accordingly, it is necessary for the town to maintain and improve the water distribution and sewer systems, to establish and administer a sound billing and collection system that is fair and efficient, and to maintain a strong financial structure.

Water & Sewer Rates

Customer accounts for services will be due and payable on the first day of the month following receipt of the services. Customer accounts not fully paid will become delinquent on the 16th day of the month which will subject the account to a delinquent charge of $3.00.

After the 25th of the month, service for delinquent accounts will be discontinued without further notice to the customer if not paid in full. For services to be restored, the unpaid balance of the account, delinquent charges, plus a reconnect charge of $25.00 must be paid in full. Such payments must be made at the Town Hall during regularly scheduled office hours. Following full payment of all charges, water services can be restored as soon as practical during regularly scheduled working hours of the Public Works Department.
