The Communications Department is a key component of Council’s goal of informing and engaging citizens and promoting Harrisburg. Housed within the Administration Department, the communications division collaborates with all departments and effectively provides services in support of all town initiatives, and therefore we have provided a specific communications budget. The Communications Director is responsible for all aspects of outreach to citizens, businesses, media outlets, community partnerships, and other appropriate connections. The position manages branding, digital communications, social media, publicity and media outreach, marketing, and all other forms of communication.
