Kick off the morning right with out annual July 4th Celebration Parade along highway 49 through beautiful Harrisburg, NC. Spend the morning with the community while we honor our Military and their Families. The parade will feature tractors, floats, trailers, bands and much more!
We will begin the parade at Captain Steve's and will travel north down Highway 49 to conclude at the intersection of School Circle and Highway 49.
The 2017 Harrisburg July 4th Celebration parade is scheduled for Tuesday, July 4, 2017 at 9am.
The Harrisburg July 4th Celebration Parade is one of the largest and most well-attended parades in the area. Folks line up along Highway 49 to see the array of military and non-military floats, businesses, walkers, bands, performers, equestrian groups and fire trucks that participate in the parade annually. The Harrisburg July 4th Parade is also televised on Cabarrus Countys Channel 22.
We invite military and veteran's groups, equestrian groups, fire trucks, schools, bands, performance groups, floats and more to participate!
Location: The Harrisburg July 4th Celebration Parade will take place at 9am on July 4, 2017 traveling down Highway 49 through Harrisburg. The Parade will begin at Captain Steve's Restaurant on Highway 49 and travels north down Highway 49 through Harrisburg where it will end at the intersection of Highway 49 and School Circle (the intersection directly after the Lowes Food Shopping Center).
Please note: The two south bound lanes of Highway 49 will remain open. Traffic will be redirected so that one lane is traveling north bound and one lane is traveling south bound. The two north bound lanes of Highway 49 will close prior to the parade starting at 9 a.m. and will reopen at the conclusion of the parade at approximately 11 a.m.
If you have submitted an application to be in the parade, you will receive your parade line up number, line up time and location in the mail a few days prior to the July 4th parade. Once the parade line up is finalized, we will mail you specific information as to where to be and what time to arrive the morning of July 4th. Parade line up locations are as follows: Captain Steve's Restaurant, Caldwell Rd. and Wood Brothers Parking Lot. Line up times vary from 6:30am - 8:30am. Our goal is to have everyone lined up and ready to go prior to the parade start at 9am.

Please note, there is little to no parking at these parade locations. If you are participating in the parade as a group (Boy or Girl Scouts, Church groups, etc.) please try to carpool or have someone drop you off at the parade line up locations.
