Another financing tool to help encourage economic development projects is the Tax Increment Grant Policy. This program allows developers to fund public infrastructure projects that will benefit from new private development in a defined area.
The town has adopted a Facade and Site Improvement Grant to enhance and improve the streetscape along the NC 49 corridor from Morehead Road to Roberta Road.
