With winter weather starting to dissipate in the Harrisburg area, crews will soon begin street improvements and paving throughout town.
The Public Works Department has authorized Red Clay Industries to begin work, weather permitting, along the following street sections:
- Bedfordshire Ave.
- Berry Ridge Dr.
- Dogwood Ln.
- Locksley Dr.
- Long Valley Dr.
- Oldham Ct.
- Rocky River Crossing Rd.
- Windsor Forest Pl.
Over the next several weeks and into the spring, various improvements -- asphalt patching, subbase repair and asphalt paving -- will occur at these locations. At times, some lane closures will be required to complete this work. The town appreciates the cooperation and patience of residents and motorists affected by these improvements.
Questions regarding this upcoming work should be directed to Derek Slocum, town engineer: 704-455-4758 or
