With a rich history dating back to the 18th century, the Town of Harrisburg boasts several historic sites being renovated to their former glory by area volunteers.
From the Post Office that has received a major facelift to the Cabin restoration currently underway, these local landmarks reflect the early years of Harrisburg's history.
Town resident Ted McCachren has documented the progress of restoration at many of these sites, including Pharr Mill and the cabin chimney. Hundreds of his photos -- with captions -- can be viewed
here on our website. Additional pictures of restoration efforts will be added as work continues.
