The Town of Harrisburg and its Parks and Recreation department extends congratulations to Vance Pender of the Harrisburg Cowboys for being named one of nine coaches in the Carolina Panthers Youth Football Coach of the Week Class of 2010.
According to a press release from the Carolina Panthers organization, Pender is among several North Carolina and South Carolina coaches recognized for excelling "on the football field and in their community, giving tirelessly of themselves for the betterment of their local area, their teams, and their players."
