Fifteen participants in the Harrisburg Web Hunt were recognized as winners Monday evening at the Town Council's monthly meeting.
Following nearly two months of collecting web hunts from area residents, fifteen winners were randomly selected among those individuals who correctly answered each of the 35 questions. Forms for the drawing were submitted during the contest, which ran from Oct. 11 to Dec. 6. Mary Galloway, a resident of Carillon Assisted Living, pulled the fifteen winning names from a fishbowl late last week. Those winners are (in the order selected by Mary):
Richard Furr
Tracy Beauregard
David Haywood
Tyler Gordon
Tina Watts
Andria Dale
Robin Smith
Casey Hurst
Jon Watts
Nicole Mattern
Bart Borchardt
Kim Lan Sim
Rhonda Ritchie
Stephanie Viers
Lisa Robinson
Five winners received $100 gift cards to Bloom. The other ten winners each received a $25 gift card to Bloom as well as various prizes donated by local businesses: two $20 Vertical Lift Services gift certificates, a $25 gift card to Rocky River Coffee, a $50 gift certificate for Bonita Travels and four personal training sessions from Empowered Fitness. Mayor Tim Hagler presented prizes to those winners in attendance at the Dec. 13 Town Council meeting.
The Town of Harrisburg extends appreciation to those businesses that donated. We also thank all residents who participated in the Web Hunt event.
