With all precincts reporting, four Harrisburg residents -- Rick Russo, David Isaacs, Phil Cowherd and Brian Leepard -- were elected to Town Council Tuesday evening.

Russo, Isaacs, Cowherd and Leepard fill vacancies left by incumbents Rhonda Poppen, Jeffrey Redfern, Bob Scaggs and Bill Williams who did not run for re-election. New Council members will be sworn in and take their seats -- and incumbents will step down -- at the December 12 meeting, scheduled for 7 p.m. at Town Hall.

More than 3,000 votes were collected among Tuesday's seven Harrisburg precincts and absentee voting methods. Of the 3,168 votes, Russo was the top vote-getter with 16.64% (527 votes). Isaacs received 16% (507), Cowherd received 14.65% (464) and Leepard received 12.44% (394). For a full voting summary, including other Council candidates, visit http://tinyurl.com/7xzqoyk.

Election results remain unofficial, but will be verified over the next few days.
