Local government leaders from across North Carolina will soon participate in an area presentation on alternative fuels.
Odyssey Day will take place Oct. 15 at Central Piedmont Community College and feature presentations on transportation, air quality and local jobs. Alternative fuel/advanced technology vehicles will be on display as well as educational displays on technology, air quality and sustainability. Regional experts will also be available for inquiries.
The local Odyssey Day is part of the National Alternative Fuel Vehicle Day Odyssey, "a nationwide event with the mission of educating the public about alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles," according to the Centralina Council of Governments.
