Operate a business in the Town of Harrisburg? The deadline is swiftly approaching for you to renew or obtain your 2011-2012 privilege license.
In accordance with the Town's
Privilege License Ordinance, all businesses must have a valid license to operate within Town limits. New applications are required prior to the start of each fiscal year (July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012). All applications for 2011-2012 are due by June 30, including renewals. Associated fees are also due with application submissions.
Privilege license fees in the Town of Harrisburg recently changed. Per a revised Privilege License Ordinance, approved by Town Council on May 9, 2011, a new fee schedule for businesses was also approved. Please refer to the new ordinance to determine the fee amount due for your business in the next fiscal year.
All business owners in the Town of Harrisburg were recently mailed a letter from the Town Clerk's office regarding the Privilege License Ordinance changes. To view that letter,

If you have yet to obtain a privilege license from the Town of Harrisburg, please ensure you have acquired the necessary zoning permits from our Planning and Zoning Department prior to submitting your privilege license application with the Town Clerk's office.
