Please Join us in 2022 for the Annual Golden Egg Hunt!

In an effort to get families in the parks spending time together, thousands of plastic, colored Easter eggs, along with over 45 golden eggs will be hidden in various parks throughout Harrisburg: Pharr Mill Park, Harris Depot Park, and Harrisburg Park.

Families may search for eggs during park hours on Monday, April 11 thru Wednesday, April 13.  Plastic-colored eggs will have a small toy or piece of candy. Eggs will be hidden 3 different times per day!

If you are one of the lucky people to find a grand prize golden egg (with a ticket in it), you can redeem your prize at The Harrisburg Parks and Recreation office on Monday, April 18, 2022. Prizes include: tickets to various outings in the Cabarrus and Mecklenburg County areas plus other goodies such as Easter baskets, toys, and games!

Families, a few things to keep in mind when "hunting" for eggs:

- Please help us to keep your parks clean and green! Please discard of plastic eggs and candy wrappers in trash receptacles.
