Garbage is collected weekly and recycling is collected every other week on regularly-scheduled garbage collection days by Waste Pro. Waste Pro will be closed on the following holidays and will operate on a one-day delay the remainder of the holiday week, with Friday service provided on Saturday:
The Town of Harrisburg contracts residential garbage, recycling and bulk item waste collection. If you are a new resident inside the town limits of Harrisburg, the Town provides you with one trash and one recycling cart under the Town of Harrisburg’s contract with the collection provider. New residents do not need to contact the solid waste service provider to set up an account, as this could result in the resident being charged for their collection service.
